Where to go...Where to go...Where to go...by the time the zombie attack comes you need to know your prime place to go. Where will you have your best chance of survival, where will you be able to hold out for a week or even a month without needing to restock. Do you have objects or defensive procedures that can be put in place when your primary firearm runs out of ammo. Is it defensively oriented that zombies will have difficulty getting in. All of these things are important. My ideal location would be a high school, an empty high school, not one still full of teachers and students but after everyone has left. Think of it there are plenty of rooms so that every member of your crew will have a room of their own, there will be storage for all weapons and non perishables and it has elevated levels so if you destroy or block the staircases the zombies cannot get up even if they get in. On the first floor of most high schools is the cafeteria where there are not only kitchens and fridges to store and cook food but chances are there are probably supplies of food. While school food is not always the most tasty or most nutritional the school meals by law must be healthy and balanced so there will be food. Schools are rationed to feed hundreds of students a group of ten could stock out there for a while. Also when backup weapons are needed between janitors closets, gyms, workout rooms, and tech classes makeshift weapons could be forged. When scavenging is nesessary a high school is commonly set close to stores so that the scavenging teams would not need to travel far. When an attack comes rooftop access gives you an advatage two or three snipers or riflists would be able to hold back a wave of zombies, with enough ammo and a good enough shot and the fact that most high schools are set on higher ground a good sniper could take out zombies from a half mile away easily. Therefore a high school would probably be the best place to set a defense for a zombie invasion. Till next time.
